The Isdera Imperator 108i is probably the strangest supercar ever with multiple vents and a unique design.
It is essentially a forgotten German supercar with rear-wheel drive, double wipers, and bizarrely placed exhaust.
Born out of the Mercedes-Benz CW311 concept car in 1978, it is unlike any other vehicle we’ve seen.
Despite its unusual shape, this German sports car also features a Mercedes V8 engine.

The strangest supercar ever — Isdera Imperator 108i
This German sports car was built by Eberhard Schulz, who worked as a design engineer for Porsche.
He created the Isdera Imperator 108i in his free time and started his own company to build the car.
The car was even featured in a Captain Crankshaft YouTube short, where he showed the placement of the exhausts on the side that seemed to defy logic.
As you can see the car also has very wide windows but it also features a a double wiper system to keep them clean.
With two wipers attached to a single arm, it’s a strange feature, to say the least.
It also featured gullwing doors, which made it look very futuristic when it was released in 1984.
The Isdera Imperator 108i also came with three speakers mounted on the door creating an impressive sound system setup.
Instead of conventional rear-view mirrors, it came with a rear-view periscope.
While we have seen many strange supercars, most of them never made it to production.
The main reason the Isdera Imperator 108i is called the strangest supercar is due to its unique design.
The Isdera brand is known for mixing retro design with modern engineering.
The Imperator 108i aimed to offer a futuristic take on the supercars in the 80s.
Unfortunately, the company itself went out of business with only thirty examples produced.
So not only is it the strangest supercar ever produced but also one of the rarest.
